NetBird Advocates
The NetBird Advocates program recognizes the people already making NetBird better through content, talks, integrations, and community support, and gives them a closer relationship with the people building it.
About the program
You already make NetBird better
The Advocates program recognizes that work and makes the relationship concrete: a deliberately small, hands-on group with a closer line to product and engineering, recognition for work already happening in public, and a focused set of benefits.
Advocates stay independent and keep their own voice. The program is about honest, credible advocacy, not sales targets, quotas, or exclusivity.

Who we're looking for
There is more than one way to stand out
The strongest Advocates make the community better in their own way. Useful work, thoughtful participation, and a genuine desire to help can take many forms.
Creators & educators
Write, record, or speak about secure networking in a way that makes complex ideas useful and approachable.
Builders & contributors
Build integrations, improve open source projects, contribute documentation, or create tools the community can use.
Community leaders
Help others in community spaces, organize local meetups, or create welcoming places for people to learn and connect.
Trusted voices
Bring an honest, credible perspective, share thoughtful feedback, and help NetBird stay connected to what users need.
Invite-only pilot
How invitations work
There is no application form during the pilot. The best way to get noticed is to keep doing thoughtful, useful work in public.
- 01
Share work that helps people
We look for sustained, quality contributions through content, talks, integrations, or consistently helping others in the community.
- 02
Build trust over time
Useful work, an honest perspective, and consistent participation matter more than audience size or a single viral moment.
- 03
The team reaches out directly
We watch the community and send occasional invitations, keeping the pilot cohort deliberately small and hands-on.
Credibility matters more than reach, and we especially look for Advocates outside our existing geographic and language strongholds.
Get involved
Make your mark on the community
Keep sharing what you build, teaching what you know, and helping others. Have a question about the program? Email our community team and we'll be happy to help.
