NetBird's November Newsletter

We're excited to share the latest updates and developments with NetBird since our previous newsletter. In addition to the new capabilities, we’ve worked on a lot of performance improvements as well like Browser client and Acronis integration.

As we head into the final stretch of 2025, the whole team has been reflecting on how much the NetBird ecosystem has grown this year. What started as a mission to make secure networking simpler has now evolved into a vibrant community of users, contributors, and partners who inspire us every single day.

This month, we've rolled out a few powerful updates that make NetBird even more capable and easier to use. Some of these ideas came directly from your feedback, and we can't wait for you to try them out, if you haven't.

Whether you've been with us since the early releases or just joined recently, thank you for being part of the journey. Your feedback, GitHub issues, and ideas truly shape what we build next.

Browser Client

You can now open SSH and RDP sessions right from your web browser. No installs, no setup, just click and connect. The new NetBird Browser Client makes it easy to reach your machines securely from anywhere. Sessions run fully encrypted inside your NetBird network, so you get instant access without giving up security.

Connect Multiple GPUs

If you're working with large AI models, this setup is for you. Connect your local OpenWebUI to remote GPU servers running Ollama using NetBird. Everything stays private and encrypted, so you can use powerful GPUs anywhere without touching firewall rules or public IPs.

NetBird + Acronis Integration

We've teamed up with Acronis to help MSPs fight ransomware and secure remote access. NetBird keeps your connections isolated and protected, while Acronis detects and stops attacks in real time. Together they give you stronger control, faster response, and peace of mind when managing client environments.
