NetBird's April Newsletter

March was all about powerful product updates — including Traffic Events Logging, Kubernetes Operator, and our new MSP Portal.

Hello NetBird Community!

March was a big month at NetBird — packed with powerful updates. We introduced Traffic Events Logging for deeper visibility, launched our Kubernetes Operator, and rolled out a brand-new MSP Portal. If you missed any of it, this newsletter has you covered. Read on for all the highlights!

What’s new in NetBird?

Traffic Events Logging

Traffic Events Logging in NetBird

We’ve introduced an experimental feature that gives you deeper visibility into your network. With Traffic Events Logging, you can track peer-to-peer and peer-to-resource connections across your infrastructure. It helps answer key questions like: who connected to what, when, and why — useful for both debugging and security auditing.

Note: Currently available on the NetBird Cloud (Business plan only) and requires client version 0.39 or higher.

We'll be doing a walkthrough of the feature set in our upcoming webinar.

NetBird Kubernetes Operator

We’ve released the NetBird Kubernetes Operator to streamline secure mesh networking in Kubernetes environments.

The Operator automates the deployment and lifecycle management of NetBird Agents as DaemonSets, ensuring each node in your cluster is securely connected to your private network. It supports multi-node clusters, automatic key rotation, and simplified coordination with your NetBird Management UI or API. Ideal for platform teams looking to reduce manual config overhead while enabling secure, peer-to-peer networking across clusters.

Our New MSP Portal is Live

NetBird MSP Portal

For MSPs and MSSPs managing multiple clients, the new MSP Portal simplifies everything. You can now manage all your customers’ NetBird accounts from one place — with unified billing and a clean interface to switch between tenants. Each tenant remains fully isolated as its own account, but invoicing is grouped under your MSP. This makes managing network access and configuration across multiple organizations a lot less manual.
